Corruption in Higher Education

According to some authors, corruption was the reason for the downfall of ancient Egypt. Even today, the corruption is present in every field of our society, especially in post-communistic transitional countries such as those on the Balkans. Aleksandra Zhivkovikj, a master in Law at the University of "Ss. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje, examines the corruption in the Higher Education with a special emphasis on the University where she took her studies.

For that purpose for the front cover was used a banknote inserted in a student's record booklet (in Macedonia known as Student's Index), known as the most popular symbol for the subject of "Corruption in Higher Education".
Since the main target audience is the academic society, a minimal and clear approach was necessary. A foil stamp was applied to describe the texture of the banknote and the logo of the university.
